Dave, an experienced Helldiver, and Myles, who was to combat strategy what a duck is to nuclear physics, ventured into the dimly lit, robot-infested planet. Myles clutched his shotgun with a mixture of determination and mild confusion, while Dave exuded the weary patience of someone who’s seen one too many rookie mistakes.
Amidst the gloom and relentless enemy robots, they stumbled upon the mysterious rock pillar. Myles poked at it hopefully, but alas, the special loot they sought was nowhere to be found. They took several photos of the enigmatic structure for the mission log, if only to prove they hadn't imagined it.
Meanwhile, Carter was off somewhere being a one-man army, obliterating robotic hordes with the kind of ease that made lesser mortals like Dave and Myles feel as useful as a chocolate teapot. Despite their valiant efforts, the duo found no trace of the legendary loot. Dave sighed, his seasoned patience wearing thin, realizing Carter, in his lone-wolf efficiency, had probably secured all the valuable loot miles away while they were still squinting into the gloom, wondering which way was up.
