#1 in the world

Helps if it's a very small world.

Switching gears from the usual zombie killing games we move to a tower defence game - Element TD 2. This game may have my less motion sickness but it more than makes up for it with an eye-candy firehose which can probably bring on a seizure.

I can't find your f***in' legs!

The existential crisis of looking down. Your brain tells you, you have feet, because looking across at your team mates, you can see they have legs and feet. Looking down you think my feet are surely there, they are just out of shot. So you back up against a wall, and then you see just the wall - and no there is no where your legs could be... and your mind blinks - where are my legs?

Banksy strikes again.

Fear not death for the hour of your doom is set and none may escape it.
When all of your comrades have already fallen, it's time to put a paper bag over your head or something.

We pause to honor our fallen heroes and thank them for their ultimate sacrifice.

Long may we remember Sturnim the Brave. For the deaths that he is about to incur, as he has yet to download Back 4 Blood.

Warped copper - the cruellest joke. "We've got lumps of it around the back" - so much of it lying around; all poison!

I like to read stuff, you know “Books open your mind, broaden your mind, and strengthen you as nothing else can"

Hell's Bells - what's that ringing in my ears

When it's a heavy "pea souper" fog, I like to go for a walk, take in the silence... in a grave yard, during a zombie apocalypse. What are you nuts?

Zaph takes the kill shot with the Barrett M95; say good-bye to the Tall-Boy and to Craig's hearing.

I'll be back ... back 4 blood

So here we go again, more zombies.

Complete the level with all "Cleaners" (that's what they call the characters here), alive. Shouldn't be too hard - with the difficulty level set to novice ;)

Craig has wisely chosen the gun that can deliver 280 points of damage with one shot, with about 5 rounds in the mag. I'll take the 30 rounds in a clip thanks, 12 points of well placed damage is all you need!

When I die, I'm leaving my body to science fiction.

Amazing work, we made it to the 25th wave. All the hard work, teamwork, planning, practice does indeed pay off.

Or it was just a fluke, as the following week we wiped on level one!

Catching the twenty second wave, and going over the falls

Check it out, 22 horde waves completed. Amazing!

Sturnim even joined in as a zero level character, having never played before, and we dragged him up to level 10 in this one session!
Sturnim the Brave of course claimed that it was him bringing the awesome that made this possible, and maybe he was correct. The following week, no Sturnim, and this happened.

When we pretend that we're dead

Yes we've switched games. "World War Z: Aftermath" where the opportunity to take selfies are a tad limited!

Elaine Dickinson : We've been thrown off course just a tad.
Tad Woman : Miss? What exactly is "a tad?"
Elaine Dickinson : In space terms, that's about half a million miles.

27B Canonbury Square, London (up six half-flights of stairs)

Form 27B/6, without which no work can be done by repairmen of the Department of Central Services.

Pictured, here we sit waiting for Craig to get his paperwork in order. Now we just need to get a photo Id, and then get it stamped. Luckily the printer still works, I would have thought that would be the first to break down, given the state of things here. Maybe in the future, it won't be the Twinkie that outlives us all, but the humble printer.

A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm

Well so much for the first law of robotics.

Speaking of carnage, man these Scorchbeasts are huge, and require a ton of fire-power to them bring down.

But that Tuba, well that's always just going to sound like a circus has just arrived in town!

Ours is a culture and a time immensely rich in trash as it is in treasures

Well "X" marks the spot

Where the hell is a billboard overlooking a posh looking townhall like building, with some kind of tower looming over the mountains in the background?

Now I'm looking for a tent, with a guitar propped up on a chair, near a camp fire, with some tower thing on the top of some mountain in the background.

Thanks Bart, keen eyes.

Svobodnaya Gruziya

Waiting in the graveyard, for the sun to set, hoping for the midnight appearance of the mysterious Mothman.

On November 15, 1966, two young couples from Point Pleasant—Roger and Linda Scarberry, and Steve and Mary Mallette—told police they saw a large grey creature whose eyes "glowed red" when the car's headlights picked it up. They described it as a "large flying man with ten-foot wings".

The festival is held on the third weekend of every September, hosting guest speakers, vendor exhibits, pancake-eating contests, and hayride tours of locally notable areas. There sure are a lot of crazies that worship this "shitepoke", and from what we saw it's a little concerning.

We will continue our hunt...
